Chan Teng's philosophy on philosophy. Part 1

Philosophy seems to be a very profound subject which ordinary people of average intelligence do not need to be bothered with. There is often a misconception that to embrace philosophy, one has to be the modern-day Socrates and constantly ask questions which seems to have no satisfying answers. Following thisline of thought, many would neglect the idea of philosophising; thus crushing all possibilities accepting philosophy as an essential tool of leading a meaningful life. However, philosophy is merely a subject that attempts to understand the general principles and ideas that lie behind the various aspects of life. Philosophy is crucial for one who wishes to lead a purposeful existence for it liberates one from being trapped in various assumptions made by their society, allowing one to discover what is true and what is not.

Across The Universe

Hey Friends, I have just returned from a trip to Malaysia. On the way, I watched a great musical, Across The Universe. It stars Jim Sturgess, Evan Rachel Woods, Joe Anderson and many more. This is evidence that the High School Musical franchise sucks big time. Below are four of the best songs featured in the film. All the songs are by The Beatles. Hope you guys would like it.

All My Loving by Jim Sturgess.

Let It Be by Carol Woods & Timothy Mitchum. Timothy Mitchum is the amazing boy voice in the beginning, while Carol Woods have a strong vocal.

Hey Jude by Joe Anderson.

Lastly, Something by Jim Sturges.

Great movie, great songs.

Go check the movie out guys.
